Impressive features of LeEco TV

LeEco is one of the more recent Chinese brands to enter the U.S. market. Some of its other Chinese counterparts include Hisense and TCL. The manufacturer was slated to acquire Vizio, which was a big player and one of the best performing brands. However, the deal fell through according to some sources. LeEco was only available on the LeMall website when it first entered the market. However, now it can be found on Amazon, Best Buy, and Fry’s. While the TVs are meant to target people with a budget, their TVs are not exactly cheap. Some of their 4K TVs may not be as expensive as other competitors but they may still burn a hole in your pocket.

Features of LeEco TV
One of the best reviewed and flagship sets is the L554UCNN. This is a state of the art 4K Ultra HD (UHD) TV. It has a very stylish metallic bezel on its side. The TV also boasts a metallic stand that has inward feet that make it look very stylish and sleek. The best feature is that the model supports HDR10, which is High Dynamic range content. The makers also say that the contrast of the TV is very good so that light and dark colors balance well. This means that if you watch the TV, in either light or dark, the TV will give the best picture quality despite how bright or dark its surroundings get.

The spectacular highlights feature is another show stopper. This means that anything that is illuminated on the screen, like the sheen of a diamond or the sparkle of a flashy new car, will be enhanced on this television. The smart TV makes use of Android TV from Google. It also uses Google Cast that allows a phone to be synced to enable transfer of content.

Viewing experience
The overall experience of LeEco TV is quite good. The sharpness, the brightness levels, and the black levels exceed expectations. Another benefit is the way in which native HD is upgraded to 4K on this set. It gives the content a whole new look and makes the experience a visual spectacle.

There are some drawbacks that should be noted. These are most notably in color correction, wherein the saturation levels may be a little off. The TV appears too bright in places and this was especially prevalent on the 4K content. This may be because the LeEco TV uses an 8-bit panel instead of a 10-bit panel. This means while the 8-bit uses 16 million different colors, the 10-bit panel uses over a billion. This difference may not be noticed by some people, but more discerning viewers may be able to tell.

The brand is doing very well in the country., based on the most recent reports, and the L554UCNN model is good for HD viewing. Most users have reported that it works for them in terms of HD, but the HDR falls a little short. It is also competitively priced and many may choose to opt for this one over others because of the price difference.
